The State Forestry Administration Intellectual Property Research Center was established in 2012. At present, a stable discipline team with 10 researchers has been formed. Since its establishment, the Center has actively carried out forestry intellectual property planning and policy research, participated in drafting policy documents such as the Guiding Opinions of the State Forestry Administration on the Implementation of the Outline of the National Intellectual Property Strategy and the National Forestry Intellectual Property Development Plan (2013-2020), and carried out dynamic tracking of international forestry intellectual property development.Editing and publishing "Forestry Intellectual Property Trends" (bimonthly), timely reporting on domestic and foreign forestry intellectual property trends, policies, academic frontiers and research progress; The analysis and research of patent information in key forestry areas have been carried out. Data mining and visualization technology have been used to mine and analyze the hidden rules and development trends from massive, heterogeneous and decentralized patent data, monitor and analyze the dynamic changes of patents in key forestry areas at home and abroad in real time, and enhance the ability of analysis and early warning of forestry intellectual property rights;A public information service platform for forestry intellectual property rights has been constructed, and 15 basic databases of forestry intellectual property rights, such as forestry patents, new varieties of forestry authorized plants and geographical indications of forest products, have been built; Actively carry out publicity and training on forestry intellectual property rights, and participate in editing and publishing the Annual Report on China's Forestry Intellectual Property Rights and New Authorized Varieties of China's Forestry Plants every year, providing information support for the formulation of forestry intellectual property rights policies, technological innovation and breaking the technical barriers to trade in the export of forest products.Since its establishment, the center has published 12 papers in core journals, participated in the publication of 15 books, obtained 1 software copyright, and compiled 32 issues of Forestry Intellectual Property Dynamics.
